change in transfer prereqs deadline?

I'm 100% positive that, at least before the UCSC website change, there was something mentioned on the transfer website stating that a transfer student could take a maximum of two classes during the summer prior to fall transfer if they are needed to meet the 60-unit minimum. That's no longer mentioned on the site. Does this no longer apply? I emailed admissions but I don't think they know what I was talking about.

There's no way I could possibly fit another class the next semester. It would suck if I had to wait an entire year for 3 or 6 units to transfer, since Santa Cruz is pretty much no longer accepting for the winter quarters.

Thanks.

i just gotta say

i highly recommend living on campus for at least your first quarter, even if your a transfer student... im a transfer student, and its pretty hard to meet people. generally the understanding i have, is that people make most of their friends when they lived on campus. just throwin it out there.

admissions by exception

has anyone had any experience with it or know of anyone who has? there's a section in the application for it, i may put something in there.

anyways yeah, i would really appreciate clarification, the likelihood of it happening, etc.
